WHEN DOES THE SEASON START?

FC Man United is a competitive soccer club that trains and plays year round.  Each of our teams compete in the So Cal Soccer League from August - December.  Each team plays in various local tournaments, indoor leagues and State championships from January - July.  

AT WHAT AGE CAN THEY START TO PLAY?

Our competitive teams begin at the Under-8 age group and continue to the U-19 age group.  Players can begin to play competitively when they are 7 years old.  In addition to our competitive teams that train year round, we also have a recreational youth program.  The youth recreational program is for players ages 4 - 9.  Our youth program is the Little Reds Youth Academy. HOW OFTEN DO THEY PRACTICE?

Each team typically has practice two weeknights per week.  Practice is usually 1 1/2 hours.  Practice begins between 5 - 8 p.m.

WHERE DO THEY PRACTICE AND PLAY?

We are based out of the Diamond Bar/Walnut area.  Most of our fields are in the immediate Walnut area.  Game locations vary.  Home games are played at Walnut Ranch Park.  Away games are at the field location of the opposing team.

WHO COACHES THE TEAMS?

FC Man United recruits and hires all of the staff coaches for each team.  All of our coaches are finger printed and cleared through the Department of Justice and each coach holds a current risk management card and coaching license.  Our Director of Coaching/Technical Director is responsible for all coaching decisions and hirings for the club.  

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PLAY?

On average, each player pays a monthly training fee of $25-$100 to the team for coaching fees (DEPENDING ON COACH).  In addition, each player pays a annual registration fee, varies per age group.  The annual registration fee is due in 3 payments of each year.  Each player will also pay a team fee each year to cover the cost of tournaments, referees dues, additional travel, etc.  The total annual cost to play ranges from $1,000 - $1,750 (monthly training fee, club registration and team costs).  There are multiple fundraising opportunities to assist with payment and various payment arrangements can be made if financial flexibility is needed.
